Speed can make all the difference in Madden 23, and having a fast RB can always be a game-changer. With the new Fieldsense system, speed is not the only thing that matters in the running game. RBs must be able to make fast cuts, change directions quickly, and have the agility, speed, and acceleration to be a fast RB. Here are all the fastest RBs in Madden 23.
Rank | Player | Speed |
---|---|---|
10 | Tyler Goodson | 92 |
9 | Derrick Henry | 93 |
8 | Ty Chandler | 93 |
7 | Nathan Cottrell | 93 |
6 | Matt Breida | 93 |
5 | Tony Pollard | 93 |
4 | Kenneth Walker III | 93 |
3 | Jonathan Taylor | 94 |
2 | Kene Nwangwu | 94 |
1 | Raheem Mostert | 95 |
Speed is the primary rating rankings are based on, but if speed ratings are equal, a combination of agility, acceleration, and change of direction are taken into account.
Many RBs float around the 90-93 Speed rating, but the fastest ones have great acceleration and agility. A large number of the fastest RBs are also young prospects who have yet to really prove themselves in the NFL, so their ratings may fluctuate throughout the season. Of course, speed is not the only thing a Running Back needs to be successful. They also need the ability to break tackles, use effective moves like jukes and stiff arms, and need to have good carrying ability to prevent fumbles.
