Magic Journey: War of Heroes - All Heroes Tier List

To keep progressing through the game, you need to have the best setup. That means that you need to look into characters' abilities, how effective they are on their own, but especially how well they work with other units in a team. We've ranked all of the Magic Journey: War of Heroes units with that criteria in mind.

Only the Best (S Tier)

Characters in this tier provide strong offense/defense and they shine in their roles. These should be your absolute go-to, invest in them as soon as possible.

HeroPros & Cons

Monkey King
+ High burst damage
+ Has damage-over-time skills that are good against bosses
+ High HP when leveled up.

Solomon
+ Tons of burst potential
+ Heals self and team
+ One of the best supports

Euryale
+ Strong healer
+ Provides tons of sustain to the team in long fights

Nemesis
+ One of the strongest defenders
+ High damage

Almost the Best (A Tier)

If you want the best value for the cost, then you'll pick the A tier characters. These are the best if you don't have any of the S Tier units, and can even be on par with them in good team setups.

HeroPros & Cons

Cleopatra
+ Has tons of burst to instantly kill enemies
+ Restores her HP whenever an allied hero casts a skill

Geralt
+ High damage
+ Debuffs enemies to make it easier to attack them

German
+ Counterattacks enemies to deal more damage
+ Can stun targets so they can't attack

Cacia
+ Restores HP when attacking enemies
+ Reduces enemy healing, making them weaker

Psyche
+ Silences/Disarms targets to stop them from attacking
+ Debuffs enemies even after she is defeated

Sometimes Viable (B Tier)

If you're F2P, then sometimes the only option for you is going to be the characters in this tier. You can make the best of them if you invest and upgrade.

HeroPros & Cons

Bonny
+ Has a high critical chance
+ Provides good damage boost
- Doesn't have a lot of HP

Jennifer

Abadon

Syrio

Not Worth Investing (C Tier)

These can work early game, but they soon become very unviable due to the amount of resources they require in the long run.
