Building a modern medieval town requires advanced means you must acquire advanced means of transportation. That means using an ox (a medieval truck) to do the heavy lifting for you. Here's how to get more oxen in Manor Lords.
Best ways to get more Oxen in Manor Lords
To get more Oxen in Manor Lords, buy them from the Hitching Post and Small Stable buildings for 20 wealth or import them from the Livestock Trading Post. The Small Stable and Livestock Trading Post buildings each provide two Stable spaces, while the Hitching Post has one.
Oxen will speed up your logistics as they'll bring heavy items like timber or planks much faster than workers. You'd want more of these animals, but it takes some planning and money (regional wealth). Increasing the number of Oxen buildings around the town will improve your transport and building process. If you're into farming (I wasn't because it takes too much work), you can update the process by using oxen in the fields (Heavy Plot farming in Development upgrade).

How to import Oxen via Livestock Trading Post in Manor Lords
In the beginning, you'll order them via buildings. But as soon as you upgrade trading via the skill tree in the Developments screen, you should start importing them via the Livestock Trading Post. They'll cost 10 wealth that way. Livestock Trading Post also works better because it gives you an option to buy a large quantity of Oxen. They'll be delivered to your town once per month.
Livestock Trading Post works like a regular Trading Post, meaning you must set the number of oxen you wish to import by selecting the Desired Surplus option. Once you reach that number, the trader will stop importing them.
