Let's cut to the chase from the get-go. No, unfortunately, your Marathon Server Slam progression will not carry over to launch. Nothing you achieve, unlock, earn, purchase, or finish will be there once the game fully launches on March 5, 2026. This has been officially confirmed by Bungie. There will be a hard reset, wiping out everything server-wide, so all players will start from the ground up again. In practice, this means:

• You'll lose all your weapons and other items from your inventory.
• Your faction reputations and levels will reset.
• Every completed faction quest will reset (you'll need to do them again).
• Every codex lore entry will be locked, as well as all progression toward achievements.
• You'll lose all your unlocked skins and other cosmetic and customization items.
• You’ll start the story from the beginning again.

So yes, keep that in mind when planning how much time you want to invest in the game over the open weekend. If you have fun and want to play it for the sake of playing it, fine, but be well aware that you'll lose everything during this period.
