The answer is yes. You can respec your characters in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. You unlock skills on the skill tree with Skill Prisms. By resetting your skills, you get these back and reapply them to other skills.

To respec and reset your skills in Mario + Rabbids, head to the Heroes tab and select the character you wish to respec. Then, press Skills and use the X button to reset your skills and Skill Prisms. You can do this at anytime as often as you want.

This allows you to not only customize your strategy throughout the game, but you can quickly reset your skills for specific fights. This is especially handy if you are struggling with a tough fight. Respec your characters and try different combinations, and you may find success.
