All Characters Ranked in Marvel Mystic Mayhem

We have divided this tier list into 5 sections to show you where each character places depending on their effectiveness, abilities, and how well they fit in the team. Before sticking to certain heroes, we suggest that you try out all the characters at least once to see which one is your favorite. However, if you want to play competitively, using higher-tier characters is recommended. With that said, let's dive in and check out this Marvel Mystic Mayhem tier list.

Overpowered (S Tier)

S-tier heroes are overpowered due to their stats, abilities, kits, and how much damage they can output. This makes them the strongest characters in Marvel Mystic Mayhem. Plus, all characters have solid sustain as well, making them ahead of the competition.

CharactersPros & Cons

Doctor Strange
+ Strange has top-tier utility thanks to his ultimate which heals allies in the target area for 57% of Doctor Strange's Max HP and removes 1 debuff from the allies.
+ He can also use Vishanti's Blessing to either have more healing, debuffs, or buffs, making him extremely versatile.

Psylocke
+ Thanks to her stats, Psylocke has insane burst damage, allowing her to shred enemies without a second thought.
+She also has high mobility which is always useful.

Emma Frost
+ Emma's Mind Flayer ability allows her to deal a good amount of damage while simultaneously healing an ally. This makes her a good utility character while having solid damage output.
+ Her ultimate (Queen of Diamonds) is a useful skill since it not only deals damage but also makes enemies take 92% increased Special DMG from all sources for 10 seconds.

Thor
+ Thor has solid stats all across the board, making him an effective hero for any team. His ultimate (Hammer Fall) causes Thor to slam an area to deal 864% of Thor's ATK as Special DMG.
+ Since he can deal bonus damage to electrified units, Thor's damage output is some of the highest in the game despite not being a primary DPS.

Tons of Potential (A Tier)

If the meta switches a bit, these characters have a chance to enter S-tier. Even if you don't have access to S-tier characters, the ones mentioned here will carry you throughout the game. All of them have useful kits and provide tons of utility to the team.

CharactersPros & Cons

Iron Man
+ Iron Man has tons of mobility, making him a useful character for your team.
+ His skills can also ignore the defense of enemy characters, making him great to shred their HP.

Hulk
+ Hulk is one of the best defenders thanks to his HP, DEF, and recovery stats. This allows him to tank a lot of damage while his team can dish out punishment to the enemy.
+ He also has good mobility and damage output thanks to his skills like Fearsome Flip and Shockwave. Plus, his ultimate increases his sustainability by healing Hulk.

Spider-Man
+ Spider-Man has good AoE skills, making him a useful controller.
+ Thanks to webbing enemies, he can apply useful debuffs on them, allowing your team to take advantage. He is a versatile pick for your team as you can play him as a damage-dealer or controller.

Scarlet Witch
+ Scarlet Witch has high DPS thanks to having good damage stats. This allows her to be one of the best strikers in the game.
+ Her ultimate deals 832% of the Scarlet Witch's ATK as Special DMG to all enemies in an area. Just seeing that high of a percentage will make any enemy fall in fear.

Lady Bullseye
+ Thanks to her low cooldowns, Lady Bullseye can spam her skills to become a strong threat.
+ She has tons of damage output thank to having some of the highest DPS in the game.

Juggernaut
+ Juggernaut has one of the highest HPs in the game along with HP recover as well. This makes him a solid tank as it takes a lot of damage to eliminate him.
+ His skills deal percentage damage of Juggernaut's HP, allowing him to deal tons of damage due to his high HP.

Moon Girl
+ Her passive (BFFs) summons a Devil Dinosaur at the start of the battle. He has 160% of Moon Girl's HP and a 100% of her ATK/DEF.
+ Once you reach her Heart 1, allies summoned units will deal 15% more damage, making her useful in summon comps.

Sleepwalker
+ He has reliable healing, which increases the team's sustainability.
+ Thanks to his buffs, all allies will have increased skill damage, making him a solid option for utility in any team.

Solid Choices (B Tier)

Characters in this tier have good kits and can be useful if put on your team. However, due to notable flaws, they aren't higher in the tier list. Characters like Doppelganger are a solid pick, but his damage falls off against other characters higher in the tier list.

CharactersPros & Cons

Misty Knight
+ Thanks to her ranged abilities and attacks, she can stay at a safe distance while dealing tons of damage.
+ Misty's ultimate (Bionic Blast) deals high damage in a straight line, making her great if the enemies line up.
- Due to having no mobility skills, she becomes vulnerable if the enemy comes too close.

Armor
+ She has the highest DEF and HP recovery stats in the game. This makes her a concrete wall against any team.
+ Her ability can taunt enemies (Ancestral Armor) to force them to attack her and increase the survivability of her team.
- Since she excels in being a tank, her damage is extremely lower.

Angela
+ Angela has some of the highest HP and DEF stats, making her a solid tank for any team.
+ Her dash allows her to have more mobility and crowd control.
- Her damage falls short, and she has to rely on her DPS to deal damage.

Moon Knight
+ Moon Knight offers good utility by increasing the attack speed of all allies and himself.
+ He can heal nearby allies with his ultimate while damaging enemies in the area as well.
- He lacks damage, considering he is a fighter who relies on dealing damage to survive.

Thread
+ He can summon four Threadlings, boosting the team's DPS and overall ability to tank damage.
+ His abilities can further enhance all summons to deal more damage, making him a top-tier pick for summon comps.
- His low HP and DEF force him to rely on a summon composition. Without that, he is extremely squishy.

Doppelganger
+ Doppelganger has a fast attack speed, increasing his overall DPS.
+ His abilities synergize perfectly with him, giving him more attack speed. Plus, his Ferocious Fists deal a lot of damage (672% damage).
- Relies too much on artifacts and highlights to deal good DPS. Otherwise, his damage falls short.

Situational (C Tier)

C-tier characters can be useful due to their utility and decent abilities, but only in some situations. This is the main reason these characters are in this tier because they aren't good on their own without having to rely on stronger characters.

CharactersPros & Cons

Black Knight
+ He has tons of survivability thanks to his revive ability after he is defeated once. This makes him a threat to all enemies.
- He has good stats, but to become more effective, he relies too much on having good artifacts, highlights, and upgrades.

Storm
+ She can apply useful debuffs on enemies to lower their damage and attack speed.
- While she does have high damage, she still relies on her team composition to perform well.
- Due to abysmal DEF and HP stats, she is extremely vulnerable.

Echo
+ Excellent single-target damage thanks to her abilities (Ronin's Shadow) and upgrades.
- She isn't good against multiple enemies without having to rely heavily on her team.
- Despite having good damage during the early game, her damage output falls off the more you progress, especially compared to Thor or higher-tier characters.

Dreamqueen
+ Deals tons of damage thanks to her crit rate upgrades. Her Heart upgrades also increase her overall DMG.
- She relies too much on landing critical hits. If she has a low crit rate, her damage isn't reliable.
- Due to having low DEF, she is vulnerable to taking tons of damage.

Sentry
+ Sentry has high HP/DEF thanks to his passive stats, artifacts, and heart (especially the Heart 2 and Mind 2 upgrade)
- Without using his abilities, Sentry has lower damage compared to other characters.
- You need to upgrade him before he can truly shine in combat, since some of his useful passives are locked at the start.

No Impact (D Tier)

All characters in this tier have limited impact on the team. This is either due to their low stats or mediocre kit. Characters like Falcon are useful in the early game, but should be replaced as soon as you get a better option.

CharactersPros & Cons

Falcon
- Due to having lower HP and defense, his survivability isn't good. This makes him extremely vulnerable.
- Despite having good debuffs, Falcon's damage output is mediocre, making him more of a liability than an asset in your team.

Man-Thing
- His summons have low HP, making them vulnerable to damage. If the enemy focuses on your summons, they get eliminated quickly.
- While his heals are useful, they don't heal much the more you progress. Other heroes have more effective heals, making Man-Thing sit comfortably in the D-tier.

Mister Negative
- If he doesn't apply tons of debuffs on the enemy, his damage is abysmal. Using all the debuffs requires the battle to be prolonged, making him borderline useless in swift fights.
- Even with his debuff applied, Mister Negative isn't a good character after the early game due to his lower damage output.
