Galacta isn't there to just yell at you to get to the point, that the other team is halfway there, or banter with Deadpool. Galacta has also been generous before, with Vol. 1 for the Closed Alpha anniversary and Vol. 2 last October. How to Get the Free Costume Coin
To get the Costume Coin, you complete one event mission a day for five days. Each completed mission moves you further along the event's reward track, and the Costume Coin is the final reward. The missions are pretty simple, usually something along the lines of doing a certain amount of damage, or complete three matches, which is the first mission for Galacta's Gift Vol.3. Here's how you get the Coin:
- Launch Marvel Rivals and open the Events tab.
- Select Galacta's Gift Vol. 3.
- Complete that day's event mission. A new mission unlocks each day.
- After five days, claim your Costume Coin from the last tier.
- Go to Store, and then to the Exchange Store and redeem the coin for the costume you want.

Which Costume Should You Pick?
With 57 options, picking just one is honestly the hardest part of this event. My advice is to pick up skins for your mains, though I know I am the first one to get a skin for a hero that I don't even know how to play if it's pretty enough. Here's some universally cool ones if you've undecisive:
- Wolverine [Deadpool & Wolverine] - It's the movie look straight from the big screen, and it's hard to pass up for Logan mains, and he doesn't seem to be banned as much as DD and BP this season.
- Spider-Man [Bag-Man Beyond] - I am the first to turn into J Jonah Jameson when I see a Spiderman in my lobby, either on my team or enemy team. But I do love this skin and it's an iconic reference. If you're gonna be terrorizing me as Spidey, may as well be the coolest one of all, Bag-Man
- Invisible Woman [Malice] - All of Sue's skins are very pretty, but I love the darkness that comes with the Malice skin.
- Jeff the Land Shark [Incognito Dolphin] - How can anyone resist this cutie in a pink dolphin costume?
- Peni Parker [VEN#M] - Peni may be consistently banned recently, but the very sleek and dark design of Spider that reminds you of Mechas from Evangelion is hard to pass up.

The newest volume of Galacta's Gift isn't the only thing in this patch. Apart from the half an hour of shaders, you'll also see:
- God Quarry map -A new Domination map based on Gorr the God Butcher's takeover of Omnipotence City. You can play it in a limited Quick Match mode from September 24 to September 29, 2026 (08:59 UTC).
- New bundles - Mantis (Morning Dew), Daredevil (Dare-Dragon) and Thor (King Thor, limited time) are now in the store.
