How to get the music disc Otherside in Minecraft

With every new version of Minecraft, many players are excited to see if there are any new music discs added to the game. This is a rare occurrence, so it is a big deal when it happens. Minecraft 1.18 includes a ton of new music, but only one new music disc can be played in the game: Otherside.

How to get Otherside

Survival

Otherside is a special music disc because it isn't obtained in the same way as the other discs in Survival. For this disc, you will find it as very rare loot in Stronghold Altar Chests and Dungeon Chests.

According to the official Minecraft Wiki, there is a 2.5 percent chance for a Stronghold Altar Chest to contain the music disc. For Dungeon Chests, there is a 3.1 percent chance for it to spawn. Dungeons generate far more frequently than Strongholds, so it's best to look for those if you're looking for the disc.

Creative/Commands

In Creative, you can find the Otherside music disc with the other discs in the Miscellaneous tab of the creative inventory. Alternatively, you can enter the following command in the text menu to grant the disc to yourself or other players.

Java

/give PlayerName minecraft:music_disc_otherside

Bedrock

/give "PlayerName" music_disc_otherside
