The MLB: The Show 22 1.04 update adds improved refresh rates for next-gen consoles on monitors or TVs capable of supporting it. Along with the 120hz support, the update also features bug fixes, new player models, and continuous content added to Diamond Dynasty. Unfortunately, the update does contain a bug that affects the connection to servers while using the 120hz output.

San Diego Studios is aware of the issue, and a hotfix is said to be on the way. Players should be able to use 120hz output will no issue after the hotfix is released. Players can turn off the 120hz output in the console settings, but it will turn it off for other games as well.
