MLB: The Show 22 brings back the Road to the Show mode, where you will control your player's rise to the big leagues. When first starting Road to the Show, you will be placed on a Double-A team to hone your skills.
Your player rating must be higher than the team's player at your position to get called up in Road to the Show. If you are on a Double-A team and the player at your position on the Triple-A team is a 70 rating, you will get called up shortly after you pass that rating.

You can get called up all the way to the Major League, but it will take some effort to raise your overall rating that high. To raise your overall quickly, play on lower difficulties at first and make sure you are fielding, batting, or pitching effectively. Getting called up as a 2-way player or a pitcher is a lot easier than as a position player.
You can check all player position ratings within your team organization by going to My Team in the Road to the Show menu, then cycling to your position. Every player in the team organization can be seen on the screen, including their overall potential.
After being called up, it is possible to be called down based on your performance. To avoid this, try to maintain wins as a pitcher, keep fielding errors low, and do not go on long batting slumps. Sometimes being called down is not the worst thing, as it gives you an opportunity to play against lesser competition to get your ratings up.
