How to request a trade in MLB: The Show 22

Request a trade!

When first creating your ballplayer in Road to the Show, you have the opportunity to select your team or go to a random one. Later on, if you are not happy with your decision, you will have several opportunities to request a trade.

To request a trade in MLB: The Show 22, you have to wait for a coach or agent interaction during the season. When these interactions come up, select the right dialogue options to request a trade.

Your agent will ask how you are doing in the organization. Answer "Could be better, I guess", then choose, "I never saw myself with [your team]." Your agent will tell you your options for requesting a trade.

If your overall rating is high and you have been performing well, you will have more options for trades. Being the highest-rated player at your position increases your chances of being called up and also the potential for trades. If there is a certain team you would like to go to, check their organization roster to see if your rating is higher than the player in your league.
