The official release date for the PC port of Monster Hunter Rise is Jan. 12, 2022, and is expected to be updated to the Switch port's Ver.3.6.1. The game is set to have voice chat, 4k resolution options, and lots more.
Content And Features
While the game will be a little ways behind the Switch port's version, the upcoming expansion Sunbreak is set to release at the same time. Capcom plans to keep both versions up to date with each other by February, ensuring PC players that they won't be playing catch up with the Switch version. There are no plans for cross save or cross platform functionality currently.
Monster Hunter: World lacked these features as well, making it unlikely that this will be implemented in the future. With high graphics and high framerate options, the PC port of the game will still be easy to run for players on a budget.
