This news comes from each players' Twitter but was then retweeted by the official MultiVersus Twitter. Alongside their Tweets, each player revealed the character that they would be playing. These are:

  • Lord Knight—Arya Stark
  • MVD—Tom & Jerry

Each of these players has achieved great success in Super Smash Bros., particularly Light and ESAM. In 2019, Light was ranked 10 in the PGR and ESAM 14 in the PGR. These players are but a few that are joining the likes of VoiD, MkLeo, and Nakat in MultiVersus.

It will be interesting to see how these Smash pro players perform in a different platform fighting game. Each player has obvious skill and fundamentals, but it remains to be seen how these will transfer from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to MultiVersus.
