How to get and place torches in My Singing Monsters

You can get torches in My Singing Monsters from the structures menu inside the Market. Torches cost around 10k coins, and you can place over ten torches. However, you must light torches before they give any bonus. To light these torches, you must pay either two diamonds to light it for 24 hours or 100 to do it permanently. An excellent alternative for lighting torches is inviting your friends to your Island so they can light one torch. Every lit torch also increases the chance of getting a successfully bred monster.
