Neopets has long been a nostalgic memory for many young adults, and they are finally taking the plunge into mobile games. While it's not the full game that we all dreamed o being made into an app or Switch game, it's a step in the right direction. Just what is Neopets Faerie's Hope, and is it worth playing?
What Type of Game is Faerie's Hope?
Faerie's Hope is a puzzle game where you have to match 3 or more of a type of block. If you have ever played games like Bejeweled, you will instantly be familiar with the concept. There are, of course, some small changes like the fact that you can match by making shares and special abilities that help you quickly clear the board.

In addition to this, you will be taken through a story involving the fairy folk of Neopia as they try to rebuild Faerieland. You will get your own island and start redecorating it in hopes of restoring your former home. This, of course, is mostly done through pushing your way through the story to earn currency and unlock features for your island like a sign.
What features are available in Faerie's Hope?
While the main focus is the story of restoring your island and beating the puzzle segments, there are a few more things that you can do while playing Faerie's Hope; these include:
- Buy clothes for your Neopet.
- Customizing your island.
While you can't make your own Neopet, the ones that help you through the story can be dressed up. The game also offers you a wide amount of furniture to decorate your island with.
Is there monetization in Faerie's Hope?
Neopet's Faerie's Hope is still in Beta, but there will most likely be monetization in the full version. This doesn't seem like the type of game to be filled with ads, but you will most likely need to purchase currency to progress through the story quickly. When the full version of the game comes out, we will update this section further.
