Map rotation returns to two maps for Apex Legends Season 11: Escape

Storm Point and World's Edge.

Apex Legends has a handful of good Battle Royale maps, including the fourth, which will debut on Tuesday. Unfortunately, the maps that are in rotation for a season often change around. For a while, only two maps were in rotation at any given time. But for Season 10, Respawn decided to put every Battle Royale map into rotation, meaning players had access to World’s Edge, Kings Canyon, and Olympus. For Season 11: Escape, however, they decided not to continue with the "all maps" rotation.

Considering that Season 11 is introducing the new Storm Point map, that brings four total maps into the game. Rather than trying to manage a four-map rotation, or only vaulting one map, the game will return to the two-map rotation for the time being. In this case, the two maps in play will be Storm Point and World’s Edge. This means that Olympus and Kings Canyon will be vaulted for Season 11, but they could potentially appear for events and/or Limited-Time Modes.

Apex Legends Season 11: Escape launches on November 2.
