In a now deleted Reddit post, there were some details about a potential upcoming Fable 4 game that will likely be revealed at E3. Thanks to Removeddit, some of these details were still preserved. Per the leak/rumors, the game will be first or third person, have character creation, be an open world game, you can ignore the main quest, build towns, there will be multiplayer, and it will be using the Unreal Engine (which likely means Epic Games Store if it's on PC). Check out the actual post below for more details!
With all leaked information you should take this with a grain of salt! This could be fake or subject to change, however, there have been rumblings about an upcoming Fable game recently.
- First/Third person
- In depth character creator
- Completely open
- No guns
- Can ignore main quest and never become a hero
- Players can build towns, ties into main quest heavily if you get the bad ending and fail
- Multiplayer
- Unreal Engine
Albion and Aurora are gone. "Lands reduced to fables." The Spire was rebuilt and used by a mad king to wish that an asteroid would strike the planet. He also wished it would happen again in the far future. Eons later and everything is new (medieval themed, new continents), and you have to stop the destruction of the planet again. Theresa and a Heroes Guild are preserved on another planet via demon door. Time travel heavily involved in plot. Jack of Blades returns.
