The Game Awards set for December 9

It's game (awards) time.

There are only a few events each year that gamers can congregate around and enjoy on a large scale. These events include E3, Gamescom, and of course, The Game Awards, a celebration of the year's most beloved releases.

While 2020's Game Awards were almost entirely remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Game Awards will be back on December 9, 2021, with an in-person presentation taking place in Los Angeles, California.

Game Awards have become one of the year's most anticipated gaming events. Fans watch not only to see if their favorite games will take home awards but for some of the most surprising game reveals of the year. Host Geoff Keighley announced the event via his Twitter account on September 30, 2021. We've added the Tweet down below:
