Best way to get Pomegranate Leaves in Octopath Traveler 2

In a game with no difficulty sliders like Octopath Traveler 2, the most surefire way to reach the end is to play smart. An integral point of this game’s battles is BPs. More BPs means more turns or more powerful attacks. Usually, you’d only be able to gain BP by waiting out turns or Donating them using a Merchant. Fortunately, there exists an item that can restore BP called a Pomegranate Leaf. Here’s how you can find them.

Where to find Pomegranate Leaves in Octopath Traveler 2

There are many ways to get Pomegranate Leaves, but the easiest one is to the Black Market in New Delsta Flats. The merchants only appear at night. The fastest way to get to it is to teleport to the Abandoned Village and exit east.

There are six Black Market merchants that can visit the area, which refresh every time you change the time of day. Wait until there are three merchants. The one selling the Pomegranate Leaf should be this guy in the middle. Pomegranate Leaves cost 1,000G a piece.

Once you finish Partitio’s Chapter 3, you’ll have access to the Department Store in Wellgrove. They have nearly every concoct material you need… except Pomegranate Leaves. Pomegranate Leaves can, however, also be bought in Beastling Village for two Jerkeies. Still, purchasing from the Black Market is the most convenient way.
