The Outlast Trials has various rigs for you to choose from, but when picking your first rig, things can be a little tricky. This is why, in this guide, I will tell about each of the rigs in The Outlast Trials and which one you should go with at the start.
All Rigs in The Outlast Trials
There are four rigs in the game, and all of them are unique from one another. Here is each of them and what they do.
- Stun: This rig gives you a throwing device that allows you to shock enemies, stun them for a bit, and run away.
- Blind: With this rig, you get a landmine that you can place anywhere. When enemies step on it, they activate it and become blind for some time.

- Heal: Now we have the Heal, which sprays a healing medicine that will cure you and your allies who are nearby.
- X-Ray: Lastly, there is the X-Ray rig, which lets you see through walls to see enemies and your objectives.
What is the best Rig in The Outlast Trials?
All of the rigs have their perks, and the best one depends on your playstyle, but if you are new and want to go with something safe, then Stun and X-Ray are great picks. These two will help you deal with enemies, making your trials much easier for the most part.
If you are playing the game with your friends and want to be a good team player, then healing can also be a viable option. This is because you can heal yourself and the team, which you can not with normal medicine, making Heal great for online mostly.
