- Lexy is great against mutliple enemies
- You should reroll if you didn't get good characters
Best Characters Ranked - Overfield Tier List
Cutesy little characters of Inutan's game don't really look like they can pack a punch, but you'll soon learn that this is simply not true! The tradeoffs of multiple copies being cheaply available for the SR, while the same cost can easily sink an SSRs means that even lower rarity units are viable here. We have sorted all the units into the three tiers.

S Tier - Best Characters in Overfield
S-tier units are the best of the best, and any drawbacks or difficulties they may have are outweighed by what they bring to the table.
| Character | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Aurele SSR Water Forcefield | + Aurele is a unit who specializes in dealing ranged damage through her jellyfish. Her Skill 1 has the ability to reduce the movement speed of enemies, while Skill 2 will change her jumping moveset to spreading the ripples which damage surrounding enemies. + Her Ultimate will summon a big jellyfish you can jump on and continuously spread big shockwaves throughout its duration. Her kit is very convenient for dealing with a lot of smaller enemies. + Both ★2 and ★5 enhance the ripples that come from her jellyfish, while ★2 allows her to perform a perfect dodge that generates even more of the spammy ripples. |
![]() Nicy SSR Wind Forcefield | + While her kit has no special effects to it, all of Nicy's skills and her Ultimate generate a pretty good amount of damage around her, in front of her and in a straight line. The multiplier percentages attached to her skills make sure that the damage output is solid. Boosted right, she is hitting the big numbers. − Her best buff, the Ultimate-triggered stackable amplification to critical rate and critical damage is gated behind the steep ★5 upgrade. |
![]() Momo SSR Wind Forcefield Staff | + Momo's niche is buffing and debuffing. Her Skill 1 debuffs the enemies' attack strength, which works like a protective buff for the team. Meanwhile Skill 2 is a direct buff to all teammates critical damage that scales off the amount of enemies bounced back with this skill, up to 30% + Her Ultimate is of the restorative-buff type, in which she deploys a stage which restores the health of all teammates and also enhances their critical rate, scaling off the amount of teammates in the range of the stage, maxed at total 15% + Though her kit is great and full of buffs, her ★2 and ★5 upgrades further buff allies and debuff enemies through a special state inflicted upon them. |
![]() Flavoure 5★ Water Slash | + Flavoure is an AoE-dealing unit who also specializes in some crowd control. While her skills can all inflict damage to a decent area, her Skill 2 and special move in particularly shine by damaging 4 enemies while also imprisoning them, with the Ultimate further inflicting huge amounts of slashing damage in the form of thorns. + Skill 1 is a useful rose summonable that stands in place and also allows some protective maneuvering around it + Her skill cooldowns are very short which allows her to almost stun-lock and target enemies for annihilation often, and this comes especially useful against elite enemies. + Amazing buffs on ★2 and ★5 which debuff the enemies that interact with the S1 rose and ease the procs of her critical hits respectively. |

A Tier - Strong Overfield Characters
A-tier units are pretty good, but they either have lesser utility or someone is directly outclassing them in their element and usage.
| Character | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Cacao SR Wind Slash Dual Wield | + Cacao's Skill 1 attack is a directional damaging ability that gives her a little control over the battlefield and by extent some maneuverability. + Skill 2 gives an attack buff to the other teammates when the evade is successfully performed. + Her ★2 upgrade allows her to heal her teammates and debuff the break meter for the enemies, while ★5 boosts her special move greatly. Though the kit feels slightly weird, the buff tradeoff is decent, especially for the SR rarity. − Her Ultimate is front-facing, but it's not certain how and where the last plate which deals the biggest damage will fall. Her Skill 2 is also somewhat difficult to land properly, and the entire kit is a little difficult to keep track of. |
![]() Tutu SR Fire Forcefield Staff | + A chaotic crowd controller, Tutu throws bombs that can both push enemies around the field with both skills, while Skill 2 additionally stuns them. Because she is a ranged damage dealer, her kit specializes on keeping the enemies away and further by pushing them around. + Her explosive Ultimate doubles up as self-sustenance, as the small carrots it leaves around restore health. + While she may be somewhat vulnerable right while casting the Ultimate, her ★2 upgrade rectifies this by pushing enemies away while aiming the big carrot. Since she is of the SR rarity, it's reasonable to plan that you can get her up to here. ★5 further upgrades her Skill 1 into a lure for enemies. |
![]() Fei SR Wind Slash All Weapon Types | + Fei is the main character free unit all players immediately obtain when starting the game. Multiple copies of her obtained through the gacha only make her better. + Her best trait is the fact that she is proficient with all weapons, and at ★2, she becomes the best when teamed up with two other units who both hold a different weapon type from Fei, which grant her up to 40% increase in attack. ★5 grant her Ultimate drone a decent buff for her teammates and increase the frequency of drone's appearance − The requirement on her ★2 boost means that she is somewhat difficult to play around to gain the maximum buffs. |
![]() Shiika SR Light Slash Dual Wield | + Shiika is currently the only light-type unit in the game. Her Skill 1 gives her a crowd controlling ability, letting her hit enemies with 4 daggers which briefly freeze them. + Her Ultimate freezes all the enemies in a certain field for a period of time, and all the damage accumulated for the duration of the Ult is simultaneously unleashed when it expires. + Shiika's ★2 upgrade gives a cooldown reduction to her Skill 1 on Skill 2 usage, while the ★5 gives the frozen state inflicted by Skill 1 an extension whenever she lands additional basic attacks, up to 7.5 seconds on an enemy. |
![]() Dove 4★ Water Slash Spear | + Dove is a ranged damage artist whose Skill 1 pushes a slashing directional AoE attack towards a group of enemies. + His Skill 2 is an excellent protective/restorative skill that either shields the caster and counterattacks if anyone approaches while active, and if there's any remaining protective stacks of paper in the shield, they are converted to health for the team and also a solid 10% of movement speed buff. + Dove's ★2 copy additionally drops a field which buffs teammates' movement speed while debuffing the enemies' movement speed on Skill 1 + His ★5 upgrade is an amazing buff that will grant him protection from dying while Skill 2 is active, and if he does take lethal damage, he will remain invincible for 8 seconds, reset all skill cooldowns, fill up his AP and boost his attack for 100%. |
![]() Kobushi 4★ Fire Strike Pistol | + Kobushi lines up melee damage at the enemies with her Skill 1, while Skill 2 grants her healing and also powers her basic attacks up. + Her Ultimate is a rice ball that bounces around the field three times, and if all three have successfully hit the enemy, the enemy gets stunned for 4 seconds. + Both ★2 and ★5 upgrades give boosts to her damage output. − Though her kit is pretty well rounded, it's not as easy to get the most of Kobushi's Ultimate attack. |
B Tier - Overfield Characters of Lesser Potential
These units have less value because their kits are either bland or expensive to max out, their skill multipliers don't favor them, or their gameplay function is underwhelming.
| Character | Pros & Cons |
|---|---|
![]() Miao SSR Dark Forcefield Orb | + The only currently available dark-type, Miao is a forcefield melee unit that goes around spilling tea to inflict Burn on enemies with both Skill 1 and Skill 2 + Her Ultimate forms an area of solid size that deals AoE damage. − Her kit is somewhat underwhelming without her ★2 and ★5 upgrades, which allow her to heal her team for a little bit, and also inflict Slow and Wet effects which proc with her innate Burn for extra damage. This kind of investment on an SSR can be costly. |
![]() Cho SSR Water Strike | + Cho handles small scale crowd control very well through the attracting black hole of her Skill 1. Her Skill 2 is a somewhat clunky shield skill that grants invulnerability on perfect dodges, which also grant a counterattack that turns this dodge into a parry. + Her Ultimate also has the ability to attract the enemies towards the center of the AoE field, so she is also better geared towards groups of enemies. − Both her ★2 and ★5 enhancements further amplify the dodge and parry mechanic, which is ever as reliant on being precise on a small screen of a mobile device. − Her kit feels wonky in gameplay, as it's not really easy to capitalize from the perfect dodges. |
![]() Lexy SSR Wind Shoot | + Lexi is best used when handling multiple minor enemies. His Skill 1 will force two enemies to collide and take damage, while Skill 2 forces one enemy to flee and explode, taking damage. Skill 2 can also be used as a form of crowd control that allows the team to lower their cooldown times. + His Ultimate deals splash ranged damage to one enemy and some behind them. The damage output of this attack will be much higher if it's the one that breaks the enemy. − His ★2 grants him another use of Skill 1, while the ★5 additionally ties Skill 2 into a combo with Skill 1, with some boosts to damage. Unfortunately these expensive buffs aren't really enough to make him work that well in battle. |
![]() Lynn SSR Fire Shoot | + Lynn's Skill 2 deals splash damage to multiple enemies − Her Skill 1 strangely relies on scaling its damage by the number of times you have tapped on the screen, which doesn't play out pretty well in gameplay. − Her Ultimate skill is reliant on positions of walls around the arena, which can be pretty difficult to work with. − Neither the break nor healing boosts that she gains through ★2 and ★5 upgrades don't really help the playstyle, especially because they are gated behind the expensive higher stars. |
