While there are lots of foraging and crafting paths to choose from in Palia, I’ve found it difficult to get far unless you put some time into mining. Stone and metal are key parts for most furniture and tools you’ll be building, so it pays to invest time in mining. Once you’ve advanced through bronze and iron, you’ll need the elusive Palium. Read on to discover where to find Palium Ore in Palia.
All Palia Palium Ore Locations (Map)
Check the map above for all the places I’ve found Palium. You can spot it by searching for blue-tinged rocks, compared to the black of Iron and the brown of Bronze. It is considered a rare resource, but if you do a circuit around (or fast travel to) these areas in Bahari Bay, you should find some relatively quickly.
- At the end of the path near the blocked mine entrance at the end of the path that leads north of Proudhorn Pass.
- If you climb up the rocks just east of the Ancient Aquaduct you’ll find a massive hole. You’ll also often find Palium on the cliffs leading into the hole.
- Climb up the cliffs north of Flooded Fortress.
- Similarly, climb the cliffs south of Flooded Fortress.
- Inside Pavel Mines.
- Head into the cave just south of Hideaway Bluffs (I tend to find this is often heavily camped though).
- Inside the cave between Hideaway Bluffs and Windy Ruins.
- Head southeast from the lighthouse towards the flooded ruins into the caves (the entrance is what I’ve marked on the map. These go a long way, and I’ve found Palium all over the place inside.
How to get Palium Ore - Palia (Location)
Before you can mine Palium Ore yourself, you’re going to need to upgrade your pick to a Fine Pick. You’ll be able to get the recipe for this (1,500 gold from Hodari) once you’ve reached level six in the Mining skill. Be aware the recipe requires 10 Heartwood Planks as well as five Iron Bars and your Standard Pick. Once you have a Fine Pick, you can head out to find some Palium.
