All Breeding-exclusive Pals in Palworld & how to breed them

Remember, Cake is very important unless you want a random hatch from your Frostallion Egg.

Not all Pals are available in the vast open wilderness of Palworld; some can only be acquired through breeding. In this guide, I'll tackle all three Breeding-exclusive Pals in Palworld, and how you can breed them to complete your Paldeck.

How to get breeding-exclusive Pals in Palworld

Elphidran Aqua

Parent PalSurfent + Elphidran
Active SkillsHydro Jet (Water, 30 Power)
Aqua Gun (Water, 40 Power)
Acid rain (Water, 80 Power)
Hydro Laser (Water, 150 Power)
Dragon Burst (Dragon, 55 Power)
Dragon Cannon (Dragon, 30 Power)
Mystic Whirlwind (Dragon, 70 Power)
Work SuitabilityLumbering (Level 2)
Watering (Level 3)

Elphidran Aqua is the easiest to breed as you only need Surfent and Elphidran as the Parent Pals and a cake. Additionally, Elphidran Aqua is a decent late-game option as a Base Pal since it only does two things: Lumbering and Watering.

For Surfent, I recommend going to the Alpha Boss Jormuntide's spawn location (-166, -266). Within the lake of Jormuntide, you'll see a bunch of Surfent(s) swimming around the area (see map above for reference). The Surfent around this area are about levels 15-18, so you shouldn't have a problem dealing with them with a good Electric Pal.

Lastly, for the Elphidran (43, -284) itself, you'll need to grind a few more levels before tackling this cute but vicious dragon. As the Alpha Boss is level 30, you must bring a decent Ice Pal like Penking. Alternatively, you can go to Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1 (92, -715) and wait for a much weaker Elphidran spawn (Level 17-20).

Suzaku Aqua

Parent PalSuzaku + Jormuntide
Active SkillsIce Missile (Ice, 30 Power)
Cryst Breath (Ice, 90 Power)
Blizzard Spike (Ice, 130 Power)
Hydro Jet (Water, 30 Power)
Aqua Gun (Water, 40 Power)
Aqua Burst (Water, 100 Power)
Ignis Blast (Fire, 30 Power)
Work SuitabilityWatering (Level 3)

For Suzaku Aqua, you must bring your A-game as the Parent Pals must be a Suzaku and Jormuntide. As part of the strategy, I recommend capturing Alpha Boss variants of Suzaku and Jormuntide so any of their special stats will transfer over to Suzaku Aqua.

In this strategy, go for Jormuntide (Level 45) first at map coordinates (-166, -266). Bring a top-of-the-line Electric Pal like Grizzbolt to aid you in battle. At this point of the game, you should also have a rocket launcher and assault rifle. The strategy is to lure Jormuntide onto the island so you don't have to battle it in the air or water, while giving you the advantage of being able to dodge its ferocious attacks.

For Suzaku, the Alpha Boss (Level 45) is at map coordinates (404, 256). Bring Jormuntide into the battle and let it do the work while you try to shoot Suzaku from below. Once Suzaku is low enough HP, throw in some Ultra Spheres and pray you get the capture.

Frostallion Noct

Parent PalFrostallion and Helzephyr
Active SkillsAir Cannon (Neutral, 25 Power)
Spirit Fire (Fire, 45 Power)
Crystal Wing (Ice, 110 Power)
Dark Ball (Dark, 40 Power)
Shadow Burst (Dark, 55 Power)
Spirit Flame (Dark, 75 Power)
Nightmare Ball (Dark, 100 Power)
Work SuitabilityGathering (Level 4)

For the toughest one to get on this list, you must capture the Legendary pal Frostallion and breed it with Helzephyr. Helzephyr is easy to capture; consider it a dark variant of Suzaku or Ragnahawk. However, Frostallion is so difficult that you will burn through several Legendary Spheres.

For Helzephyr, you can usually find them roaming around the area on the map above at night. A good Dragon Pal like Elphidran will help you tremendously. You can also battle it in the air with a decent mount like Ragnahawk.

For Frostallion, the Legendary Pal is at map coordinates (-358, 509). You must set up a team of powerful Fire Pals like Jormuntide Ignis to help you battle Frostallion. As usual, bring your much-needed rocket launcher, assault rifle, and frag grenades to help you deal with more damage. Once the Frostallion's HP is low, keep throwing a bunch of Legendary Spheres to secure the capture.
