Skill Fruits are the primary means of diversifying the skillset of your unique cast of Pals when it comes to combat efficiency in Palworld. There are many Skill Fruits available, but some stand out quite a bit over the others in terms of value, so here's how you can get them.
Best Skill Fruits in Palworld
Almost all Skill Fruits in Palworld come from Skill Trees, which are scattered around the map of Palworld. However, the fruits growing on these trees are random. There is no specific way to guarantee one of the following fruits. You'll need to return to the Skill Trees you find and farm them for a bit until the fruit you're looking for is present.
Skill Fruits also come out of chests, and the rule of obtaining Skill Fruits from these is based on where you found the chest. A chest in a high-level zone is going to be more likely to drop more powerful Skill Fruits. That said, chests present only a chance of getting Skill Fruits and are not guaranteed to drop one every time.
1. Ignis Blast
Despite being an uncommon Skill Fruit, Ignis Blast is by far one of the strongest Skill Fruits you can get your hands on in Palworld. This is due to the skill having such high base Power while also having a very tiny cooldown. As a fire skill, it also enables the user to easily inflict the Burn Status on targets after only a few hits. It is very consistent with a very low risk for a significant reward.
Ignis Blast can be obtained from any Skill Tree located in the southern portion of the map due to those areas being considered early game.
2. Shockwave
Much like Ignis Blast, Shockwave is an uncommon Skill Fruit that has significant value due to how it functionally works. Shockwave is a PBAoE (Player-based Area of Effect) skill that has low damage with very solid Power attached to it. It has a short range, but any target around the player will suffer non-insignificant amounts of Electric damage, which also happens to enable the Paralyze Status on struck targets. Shockwave hits multiple times in a single cast, meaning that it almost always guarantees a Paralyze.
Shockwave can be obtained from any Skill Tree located in the early parts of the game (typically the southern portion of the map).

3. Lightning Streak
Lightning Streak is an extremely powerful rare Skill Fruit that does massive damage to targets that are hit by, as well as guarantree a Paralyze in most cases. It has a long range and can hit targets on the ground very easily. For its 16-second cooldown, the damage this skill does is unmatched compared to all other skills in the game.
Lightning Streak is a mid-end game Skill Fruit. It can be found in the later areas of the game (Volcanic, Desert, and/or Arctic Biomes)
4. Fireball
Fireball is one of the most powerful Skill Fruits you can get your hands on, and its rare rarity reflects that. It has a very long cooldown, but the damage this skill can output is pretty insane, to say the least. Not only that, but it has a large AoE, meaning that damage is done to an area, not just one target. This is, personally, my favorite Skill in the game, as it can easily wipe out a Raid in a single attack if pinpointed correctly.
Fireball being an endgame skill means it can only be found in the Volcanic or Artic Regions of the game, with it being more common off of Skill Trees and chests located in the Northeastern section of the map.
5. Dark Laser
Dark Laser is among Fireball in that it is an extremely powerful Skill with a long cooldown that is a rare Skill Fruit. Unlike Fireball, however, it is an emanating beam coming from your Pal, meaning the direction of the ability can be changed mid-cast. This allows for a sweeping effect that can be used to take down even more enemies than Fireball can, in certain situations.
Dark Laser is an endgame skill, meaning it's only going to come from Skill Trees and Chests found in the Volcanic or Artic Regions of the game. I found mine from a dungeon chest in the Volcanic Region.

6. Lightning Strike
Joining the ranks of Fireball and Dark Laster, Lightning Strike is yet another incredibly powerful, rare Skill that should be sought after for your Electric Pals. It allows the user to call down a massive bolt of lightning from the sky, incinerating everything with a generous radius around said user after a brief charge-up period. It has a long cooldown, but the damage is more than worth the cost. Unlike the other powerful skill, Lightning Strike's PBAoE allows you to sort of use the Pal you teach this to like a giant electrical grenade.
Give this skill to a Pal, then throw that Pal into a group of enemies. In most cases, the moment that Pal comes out of your Sphere, they'll begin to cast Lightning Strike. After a few seconds, the fight that would have lasted 30 seconds would only have lasted about five instead. I've found this to be very useful for opening against stronger foes (such as bosses) as well.
Lightning Strike is an endgame Skill so you'll generally only find it on Skill Trees located within the Volcanic or Artic biomes of the map.
7. Dragon Cannon
Dragon Cannon is an uncommon Skill Fruit that allows your Pals to spit out a ball of Dragon-based damage. This ability does moderate damage, but what makes it potent is that it is one of the few skills in Palworld that is AOE with a 2-second cooldown. It is this notion that makes it the best all-purpose, go-to Skill for flying Pals that can take advantage of their elevation.
That said, it is just a solid skill to put on any Pal that you can mount, as you can then take full advantage of the AOE and low cooldown abilities. As Dragon Cannon can generally be found in the earlier parts of the game, such as the Grassland or Swamp biomes.
