How to catch Orserk in Palworld – Catch Location & Breeding

What a shockingly great Pal!

Orserk can be a great asset to your Pal team, not just because they're a high-level Pal, but because they can provide worthwhile abilities and Work Suitability for your base. Here's how to get one!

Where to get Orserk in Palworld (Map)

Orserk is a dual-type Pal in Palworld, meaning they have two elements: Dragon and Electricity. Right away, this makes them more valuable because it means they can have fewer weaknesses and more strengths. They are known as one of the late-game Pals, which means it won't be easy to get one.

You can find an Orserk in two ways: one by taking on the Axel and Orserk Boss in the Volcano Biome and the other by tracking one down in the wild. The boss fight will be more challenging and is recommended for level 40+, so if you decide to try and capture this Orserk, come prepared. Bring high-level armor with heat resistance, weapons like the double-barrel shotgun, and Pals with damage boosts (Ground or Ice Type).

Finding an Orserk in the wild can be the better option since you will only need to fight one-on-one with the Orserk. You can find some Orserks on the circular island at the top northeast corner of the map. They will still be level 40+, so even though it won't be as extreme as the boss fight, still come prepared. You will need a Legendary Sphere to capture one.

Another way you can get an Orserk, other than beating the boss or capturing one in the wild, is to breed one yourself. To start breeding, you're going to need a Breeding Farm, an Egg Incubator, and two combination pals (one male and one female).

You can unlock the Breeding Farm in Technology 19 and craft it for 100 Wood, 20 Stone, and 50 Fiber. When it's built in your base, you'll need to place two Pals that combine to make an Orserk. The combination you'll need is:

  • Relaxaurus + Grizzbolt

Once you have those two Pals, place them in the Breeding Farm and then place a Cake in a chest right beside it. Eventually, they will drop an egg for you. Then, you'll need to place the egg in an Egg Incubator. The Incubator is unlocked in Ancient Technology 7 and can be crafted for 30 Stone, 5 Cloth, and 2 Ancient Civilization Parts. Place the egg in the Incubator and wait for it to hatch. You can speed up the egg-hatching process by ensuring the egg is properly cared for.

Orserk Skills and Drops in Palworld

Orserk not only has some powerful abilities to use in combat, but they have very useful skills around the base and increase your drop against Pals in the wild. Here's a look at all the skills they can provide:

Partner Skill

  • Ferocious Thunder Dragon: Water Pals will drop more items when Orserk fights alongside you

Work Suitibility

  • Generating Electricity - Level 4
  • Handiwork - Level 2
  • Transporting - Level 3

Drops

  • Electric Organs

These high-level Pals are well worth having for your collection, if not just as a sidekick in battle, then as a handy Pal to have at your base. They are the best Electricity Generators you will find.
