How to make Plasteel in Palworld

Plasteel is one of the late-game materials in Palworld, which you can make once you unlock it at level 50 of the Technology Tree. You need two technology points to unlock it. You can make Plasteel in Palworld at the Electric Furnace in your base.

Two of the three materials needed to craft Palsteel are easily obtainable, and you can set up their farming at the base. Obtaining Crude Oil is quite a task, on the other hand (read more about it below). To make Plasteel, you'll need:

  • Crude Oil x 5
  • Paldium Fragment x 5
  • Ore x 10

Where to farm Crude Oil in Palworld?

You can farm oil on the Sakurajima Island. Usually, any area on the map that looks like dirt will have one or two oil holes. Set up in an area that has multiple of them. You can also find Oil sources on other Islands, but they don't seem to be as abundant as they are on Sakurajima.

In order to get Crude Oil, you have to craft and use a new item called the Crude Oil Extractor. You can find it on level 50 in the Technology Tree. You need two Technology points to unlock it. If you are lucky, you'll also find some Crude Oil in Supply chests, which drop during the Meteor Event along with Meteorite.

To craft the Crude Oil Extractor, you will need to collect:

Once you craft the Crude Oil Extractor, place it in your base with a power source (preferably a Large Generator combined with Orserk), and you can start extracting Crude Oil for all of your Plasteel needs.

The only way you can craft Plasteel is at an Electric Furnace. You can unlock it at lvl 44 of the Technology Tree. To make the Furnace, you'll need:

  • Refined Ingot x 50
  • Circuit Board x 10
  • Polymer x 20
  • Carbon Fiber x 30
