I love Tocotoco because of its goofy appearance and explosive personality, but it's extremely useful for getting gunpowder in Palworld. But you need to know how to find and catch Tocotoco in Palworld first.

Where to find Tocotoco in Palworld - Map

Tocotoco can be found in two locations in Palworld, but the easiest location is on the central island due to proximity. Use the image below to locate Tocotoco, but be warned, catching it is much harder than you may expect. Tocotoco is a Neutral-type Pal, but the trouble comes due to its explosive nature. The desert island contains Tocotoco as well, but is higher level.

Once Tocotoco notices you, it immediately rushes toward you and starts blinking. After a brief time, Tocotoco explodes, dealing massive damage to you and your Pals. I recommend using a flying Pal and weakening Tocotoco from a distance. The next step is to quickly throw a sphere before Tocotoco explodes.

How to farm gunpowder in Palworld

Gunpowder is one of the main drops from Tocotoco in Palworld. You easily farm this resource by heading to the beach where several of these Pal spawn. Simply alert the Tocotoco, and they will begin their explosive countdown. Quickly defeat them with powerful weapons or Dark-type Pals, or just run away. Tocotoco does not drop gunpowder if placed in a ranch, unfortunately, so you must defeat them to get this material.
