Anubis is one of the most powerful Ground-type Pals you can get in Palworld. If you're looking to add it to your party, then you'll have to either breed an Anubis or catch one in the wild.
How to breed Anubis in Palworld
Breeding is an easier, albeit more time-consuming method of getting Anubis in Palworld. If you have a Breeding Farm and an Egg Incubator, you can get Anubis from the safety of your own base. To do this, you'll need to catch Alpha Penking and Alpha Bushi, both of which are field bosses.
Alpha Penking is found in Windswept Hills at level 15. You can find it north of the Rayne Syndicate Tower at 114, -352. Meanwhile, Alpha Bushi spawns in Bamboo Groves at level 23, southeast of the Ravine Entrance fast travel point at -116, -491.
Once you've caught both Pals, place them in your base and assign them to your Breeding Farm. In order to breed, Penking and Bushi must be the opposite genders, meaning one has to be male and the other has to be female. You'll also need to place Cake in the chest outside the Breeding Farm. After a few minutes, your Penking and Bushi will produce a Huge Rocky Egg.
Place the Huge Rocky Egg in your Egg Incubator; from here, all you have to do is wait for it to hatch. By default, Huge Rocky Eggs take two hours to hatch, so unless your base is in a warm area, I highly recommend placing a source of heat near your incubator. This will speed up the egg's hatching time by 50%.

How to catch Anubis in Palworld
If you want to catch an Anubis in the wild, you'll need to capture the Alpha Anubis at -134, -94 in Twilight Dunes (pictured above). This is a desert region, so before heading there, be sure to equip heat-resistant armor. This will prevent you from taking damage over time due to the weather.
Alpha Anubis is level 47, making it one of the strongest bosses in the game. As such, it's also very difficult to catch, so you'll need to bring your best Pal Spheres—and bring a lot of them. I recommend the Legendary Sphere, but if you haven't unlocked it yet, Ultra Spheres will work in a pinch. As a Ground Pal, Anubis is weak to Grass, so have strong Grass-type Pals like Warsect or Lyleen in your party to reduce its health.
Anubis has powerful ranged and melee moves, so keep your distance and let your Pals soak up most of the damage. Aim for headshots using high-power guns like the Assault Rifle, and be ready to dodge any attacks that come your way. Once Anubis has just a sliver of health left, recall any Pals you have summoned and start throwing Pal Spheres. With any luck, you'll catch Anubis within your first few attempts.

All Anubis skills and abilities in Palworld
Anubis is a powerful Pal that will provide plenty of value either at your base or in your party. You can find all the details on Anubis below:
- Partner Skill: Guardian of the Desert
- Applies Ground damage to the player's attacks when summoned. Will occasionally dodge attacks in battle.
- Work Suitabilities:
- Handiwork (level 4)
- Mining (level 3)
- Transporting (level 2)
- Starting moves:
- Iceberg (Ice, 70 power)

As you can see, Anubis has high attack but middling defense; if you're using it in battle, watch its health bar closely. You should also keep in mind that Pals may have varying base stats depending on their Passive Skills. If your Anubis receives a negative passive, such as Brittle, you can always breed or catch another one.
