How to get Implants for the Pal Surgery Table in Palworld

The new Terraria update has not only included new Raid bosses to Palworld, but it's also added a Surgery Table that lets you use implants modify your favorite Pals with bonuses that suit your playstyle.

How to Get the Pal Surgery Table in Palworld

While it doesn't seem like much, it definitely gives you more control over the kind of strategies you would like to adopt heading into any new encounter or missions. Having a Surgery Table isn't enough though, you'll also need different implants to use on them. This further compliments the breeding system that Palworld offers, making it easy for you to target better Pals.

The Pal Surgery Table is on Lvl 36 in Technology in Palworld, for which you need to spend three points. To build it at your base, you need the following materials:

• Refined Ingots x30
• High Quality Cloth x20

Once you've built this structure, you can modify your Pal's gender and the passive stats they come with. However, you'll still need Implants for any Passives modifications that you want to make.

How to Get Implants in Palworld

Implants are an important ingredient in Palworld, and there are various ones available. You can purchase them by handing in Bounty Tokens to the Bounty Officer at the Small Settlement fast travel point (74, - 487). You can get the following Implants here:

• Musclehead
• Burly Body
• Artisan

Another way to get Implants is to fight in the Arena (633, 16) and exchange Battle Tickets for various items, including these Implants:

• Serenity
• Infinite Stamina
• Runner

How to Get Bounty Tokens

You can complete Bounties all across the map. They are marked with the Purple NPC icon on the Map as seen in the image above and they have a purple glow around them when you spot them in the world. You have to fight and take out these NPCs of various levels. The same rules as with Pals applies. The lowest levels are on the starting island and the highest level are on the Sakurajima island. The higher the level the more Bounty Tokens they drop, with max 6 on Sakurajima, which makes it the best place to farm this currency.

Once you've accumulated enough tokens, make your way back to the Small Settlement and trade them in for Implants in Palworld.

How to Use Implants in Palworld

To use an implant:

• First, place the Pal you want to operate on, in your party.
• Head over to your Pal Surgery Table in Palworld and interact with it.
• From the available menu, select the implant you want to use and select the passive on your Pal that you would like to replace. Alternatively, if your Pal has an empty slot, you can place this passive on that slot too.
• This entire process will set you back within 10,000-50,000 Gold depending upon the rarity of the passive you want to use. So, make sure you have enough in stock.

Can You Change Your Pal's Gender in Palworld?

Yes, you can change your Pal's gender in Palworld too using the Pal Surgery Table. Similar to changing the passives, the process of changing a gender is almost similar. However, to swap a gender, you need an item called a Pal Reverser. You can get this item by trading in Battle Tickets at the Arena Vendor. Alternatively, you can also select these as a reward when turning in bounties.
