If you want to make high-level workstations, structures, and weapons in Palworld, you'll need to craft yourself some Nails first. Here's everything you need to know about making Nails in Palworld.
How to craft Nails in Palworld
Nails are crafted at any workbench using Ingots, a resource made by refining Ore in a furnace. One Ingot produces two Nails each. You'll need to reach Technology level 10 to unlock the recipe for Nails.
The first step in making Nails is to build a Primitive Furnace, which you can unlock at Technology level 10. Once you've unlocked the Primitive Furnace, enter the build menu and place it anywhere at your base. Primitive Furnaces cost 15 stone, 20 wood, and three Flame Organs to build. You'll also need a Flame-type Pal with the Kindling work suitability to power the furnace. I recommend Foxparks, as its early availability and low level make it easy to catch.
To use your Primitive Furnace, interact with it and choose the Ingot recipe from the menu. Ingots cost two Ore each; select Start Production once you're ready to make them. Your Flame-type Pal will work at the furnace until your Ingots are finished. From there, pick up your Ingots and head to any workbench at your base. Select Nails from the crafting menu, choose how many you want to make, then hit Start Production. While you can craft the Nails yourself, I suggest having a Pal with the Handiwork suitability assist you to speed up the process.
How to get Ore in Palworld
Ore is a natural resource gathered by mining from certain rocks in Palworld (pictured above). These rocks differ from their standard counterparts, appearing more bronze in color with a faint sparkle effect. You can find these rocks anywhere in Windswept Hills, though I recommend looking near rocky mountains and cliffs.
Ore rocks can be mined with your bare fists, but I highly recommend mining with a pickaxe instead. Breaking rocks with your hands takes longer, costs more stamina, and produces less ore than using a pickaxe. Whichever approach you take, I also suggest freeing up some inventory space first; Ore is particularly heavy, and if you exceed your weight limit, you'll have a harder time transporting it back to your base.
