How to get Surfent Terra in Palworld – Location & Breeding

It's Surfent, but much useless in the base, but gotta catch 'em all right?

Surfent Terra is a ground variant of Surfent, which is very difficult to find, especially if you're trying to complete the Paldeck. In this guide, I'll show you how to breed a Surfent Terra and its location in Palworld.

To breed a Surfent Terra you need two specific Pals, Dumud and Surfent. Dumud frequently spawns in the desert area at map coordinates (-151, -64) near the Alpha Boss Anubis.

On the other hand, Surfent spawns within the lake where Jormuntide resides at map coordinates (-176, -265). Both Pals are easy to battle and capture, so it shouldn't take too much effort to get both quickly.

If you're more of the exploration type like I am, you can also find Surfent Terra(s) roaming around on the map. However, the farming area for Surfent Terra is located in the northeastern corner side of the map, making it far from the usual starting bases.

An easy solution I found for finding Surfent Terra is unlocking the Deep Sand Dunes Fast Travel Point (525, 525) and running along the shorelines with my flying mount to scout for the Pal. The enemies in the area are also high-leveled, so it is best to be prepared with your high-level pals and heat-resistant armor before venturing into that zone.

All Surfent Terra skills and abilities in Palworld

Here's everything you need to know about Surfent Terra's skills, work suitability, and partner skills:

  • Partner Skill
    • Sand Swimmer: Can be ridden
  • Active Skills
    • Sand Blast (Ground, 40 Power): Surfent Terra will create and throw sticky mud at an enemy. This is useful if you want some poke damage due to its low cooldown.
    • Stone Blast (Ground, 55 Power): Blasts a barrage of stone to an enemy in front of Surfent Terra. I recommend using this skill due to its low cooldown (10 seconds) and decent damage.
    • Stone Cannon (Ground, 70 Power): Stone Cannon is very useful in dealing quick and powerful damage against Electric Pals.
    • Sand Tornado (Ground, 80 Power): Similar to Flare Storm, this skill is only useful against a mob of enemies in front of Surfent Terra.
    • Draconic Breath (Dragon, 70 Power): Surfent Terra will exhale draconic energy, dealing continuous damage to any enemies in front. Draconic breath is very useful against tower bosses like Victor and Shadowbeak.
    • Dragon Cannon (Dragon, 30 Power): Like Sand Blast, this is a good dragon-type move with a low cooldown for poke damage.
  • Work Suitability
    • Gathering (Level 1)
