How to craft Refined Ingot in Palworld
Just like Ingots, you can't find Refined Ingots in Palworld; you need to craft it. For starters, you need to make an Improved Furnace, which you can unlock at Technology level 34 and add to your base.
To make an Improved Furnace, you need:
- 100 x Stone
- 30 x Cement
- 15 x Flame Organ
If you have the furnace set up, now all you need to do is farm enough ore and coal to make refined ingots.

Where to farm Coal in Palworld
While you can find Ore in the starting area pretty easily, you will need to travel a bit until you find Coal. One of the best locations for Coal farming is at -157,-89 (1); just watch out not to stumble into Anubis. This place also has Ore for you to mine too.
Another location with both Coal and Ore can be found at 195, -40 (2). However, you'll have to fight off some Free Alliance Pal Devouts that are ready to shoot you at the slightest provocation (existing).
Where to farm Ore in Palworld
Mining for Ore can be a tedious job, which is why you should work on setting up a passive Ore farm and get all of your Pals to do the work. You can go to the Desolate Church at 70, -409, which is also a good location for your base, as you can farm wood and stone here, too.
How to use Refined Ingot in Palworld
Refined Ingot is a very essential material in a lot of Technologies starting from level 34 and almost all the way up to level 50 when you start using Pal Metal Ingots.
You can craft various tools, weapons, and ammo:
- Refined Metal Axe
- Refined Metal Pickaxe
- Refined Metal Spear
- Single-shot Rifle
- Rifle Ammo
- Shotgun Shells
- Double-barreled Shotgun
- Pump-action Shotgun
- Sword
- Assault Rifle
- Assault Rifle Ammo
Refined Ingots are also used for various base improvements:
- Sphere Assembly Line II
- Production Assembly Line II
- Weapon Assembly Line II
- Refrigerator
- Refined Metal Chest
- Electric Heater
- Electric Kitchen
- Electric Cooler
- Electric Medicine Workbench
- Electric Furnace
- Mounted Missile Launcher
Armor and other upgrades for your character also require Refined Ingots:
- Ultra Sphere
- Hyper Sphere
- Refined Metal Helm
- Refined Metal Armor
- Heat Resistant Refined Armor
- Cold Resistant Refined Metal Armor
- Giga Glider
