How to move when you are overweight in Palworld

Who knew that Grappling Gun was so powerful!?

Palworld has many materials, some heavier than others, which can quickly overburden your character and render them unable to move. However, there are quick fixes for that, and by using them, you can move when you are overweight in Palworld to get all your goods safely to your base.

If your character is carrying too much weight, you should first look for a chest or fast travel point nearby and then use your grappling gun to move towards there. Unlike moving, a grappling gun is not affected by being overweight, so you will always be able to move. Mostly, being overweight is an issue when you pick up items at your base. When that happens, the grappling gun helps you reach nearby chests.

However, if you are out in the wild and become overweight, then you have to look for a fast travel point by opening the map. After identifying the fast travel point, use your grappling gun to reach there and fast travel back to base, from where you can use your gun to go to a nearby chest.

Furthermore, there are various kinds of grappling guns, and each new one is much better than the previous one, so if you can afford it, try to get the best one available. This increases the range you can travel and reduces the amount of time needed to travel from one place to another.
