Ice Kingpaca is a variant of the Kingpaca Pal, and unlike other Pals, it can only be found in one specific location. This location is the Forgotten Mineshaft in the Snow Biome of the map. You can get to it by taking the Land of Absolute Zero Fast Travel and heading Southwest at coordinates -253, 477.

How to catch Ice Kingpaca in Palworld

Ice Kingpaca can be a more difficult Pal to capture in the wild, especially for beginner players. You will need to delve into a higher-level Biome, ranging up to level 40+ enemies, so consider progressing a bit first. You will also want to gear up with all necessary items beforehand, like cold-resistant armor, weapons (fire weapons for a boost in damage), and a Fire Type Pal to have maximum effectiveness against them.

For the actual capturing part, you will need some higher-power Spheres to catch one. Since these are higher-level Pals, sometimes even bosses, the basic Spheres won't cut it. Bring along higher power ones and do as much damage to them first as you can to increase your capture chances.

Another way to get an Ice Kingpaca is to breed one. Breeding Pals will give you an egg that can hatch other Pals, but you will need the proper combinations and the suitable structures for your base. The Breeding Farm is unlocked in Technology 19 and can be built with 100 Wood, 20 Stone, and 50 Fiber. Once you have one, you will need one male and one female Pal to start breeding. These are the combinations that you can use to get an Ice Kingpaca:

  • Reindrix + Kingpaca
  • Ice Kingpaca + Ice Kingpaca

After placing these Pals into the Breeding Farm, put a chest with a Cake inside of it next to the Farm and wait. Eventually, the Pals will drop an egg for you. You can begin the hatching process with an egg by placing it in an Egg Incubator. The Egg Incubator is unlocked in Ancient Technology 7 and crafted with 30 Stone, 5 Cloth, and 2 Ancient Civilization Parts. Then, you'll have another waiting period. You can speed up the process by placing a heat source next to your Incubator, like a campfire.

Ice Kingpaca Skills in Palworld

The Ice Kingpaca proves helpful in several different ways. Their Partner Skill: King of Muscles allows them to be used as a ground mount and help carry supplies, expanding your carry capacity. They also have a variety of ice, water, and neutral attacks to use in battle. Here are some other skills that help around your base:

  • Gathering - Level 1
  • Cooling - Level 3

These Work Sustainability skills allow Ice Kingpaca to harvest your crops on your plantations and keep your food fresh longer with their Cooling; well worth having if you have a lot of food stored.

Consider adding Ice Kingpaca to your team, not only for help around your base but as a decent battle companion, especially effective against Dragon Type Pals.
