Best way to beat Wealth Hand in P3 Reload – Wealth Hand weaknesses & more!

Chime in on the wealth by defeating a bunch of Hands in Tartarus.

Wealth Hand is one slimy shadow, as it often does nothing throughout the battle, but then most players will find it difficult to damage before it escapes. Keep reading as I discuss the best way to beat Wealth Hand in P3 Reload, including its weaknesses and more.

Wealth Hand is a rare shadow you'll find while exploring the Tartarus. You can usually spot one easily since it has its regular form intact even when not in battle. Kirijo will also inform you occasionally about its presence on the current floor.

What is Wealth Hand's weakness in Persona 3 Reload?

Wealth Hand is weak to Strike Damage (denoted by a fist icon beside your skill). Junpei Iori is your best candidate for taking down Wealth Hand due to his move "Bash." Once Junpei casts Bash, use an All-Out attack onto Wealth Hand and repeat the process if necessary.

Defeating Wealth Hand will grant you a ton of EXP (roughly 250-300) and an item caled Wordly Coin, which sells for 1,000 Yen. Since you'll be encountering Wealth Hand through floors 1-26, I suggest you take advantage of this strategy to earn a lot of XP and Yen.

Treasure Hand

Treasure Hand is a stronger variant of Wealth Hand, which spawns around floors 28-42. Although it still doesn't pose any threat to the team, it's still hard to take down if you don't know its weakness. Treasure Hand is weak to Light attacks.

In my experience, I used the Unicorn persona with the skill called Kouha. Like the implemented strategy on Wealth Hand, use a light attack and unleash an All-Out attack afterward until Treasure Hand is eliminated. You'll get about 900 EXP and an Odd Coin, which can sell for 2,500 Yen.

Precious Hand

Precious Hand is slightly more durable than both Treasure Hand and Wealth Hand. You can encounter Precious Hand in the Tartarus from floors 43-75. Its weakness also transitions to dark attacks, so skills like Eiha or Maeiha will be effective against Precious Hand. After the Precious Hand is knocked down, unleash an all-out attack or try to knock down the accompanying shadows.

I used Pale Rider's Maeiha attack to dispose of Precious Hand quickly. Precious Hand will flee if you don't defeat it in time like its low-level variants. After defeating it, it will drop an Odd Coin, and about 2,000 EXP.

Supreme Hand

Supreme Hand is within the floors 76 to 117 and does not have any weaknesses. It is immune to all forms of magic attacks, so do not use spells to bring this hand down.

The Supreme Hand drops a Rustic Coin and roughly 4,000 EXP. I recommend bringing Junpei along with a few physical-based Personas like Eligor. You can also opt for Personas, which has Megido so you can deal Almighty damage.

Invaluable Hand

Invaluable Hand appears around the same area as Supreme Hand. However, Invaluable Hands only spawns on the 77th to the 91st floor. Although it appears on lower-level floors, it has a different weakness: Dark elemental skills.

It's also the first rare Hand that can cast a skill. It casts Sukukaja on itself, raising its evasion for three turns. I highly recommend using Yukari's Sukunda to lower Invaluable Hand's evasion rate, and go for an all-out attack once you knock it down. You'll receive a Rustic Coin and about 6,000 EXP when you triumph over an Invaluable Hand.

Opulent Hand

Opulent Hand appears at the start of the Tziah block (Floor 119-144) and usually casts Sukukaja and Tetrakarn. This opponent is tricky since it's weak to Strike Attacks, but you must kill it before it can cast Tetrakarn. Tetrakarn reflects any physical damage back to the attacker, so if Opulent Hand casts it on itself, the only way you can damage it (without getting damaged) is through spells and Theurgy skills.

I recommend bringing Yukari and casting Sukunda on her turn and then use Aigis's Swift Strike to knock it down. You'll get a Sumptuous Coin and about 8,000 EXP for defeating an Opulent Hand.

Bold Checkmate

Bold Checkmate is a special type of enemy in Persona 3 Reload. I encountered one on the 129th floor of Tartarus, and you'll have to answer a few navigational questions from Fuuka so you can chase and fight this massive Greedy Shadow.

Luckily, Bold Checkmate is weak to Slash and Strike attacks. This means Akihiko, Junpei, and Makoto (protagonist) can quickly take down the Bold Checkmate. Upon defeating the Greedy Shadow, you'll earn about 18,000 EXP and all treasure items on the current floor.

Ethereal Hand

The Ethereal Hand starts to spawn around floors 144F to 171F of the Upper Tziah Block in Tartarus. Its weakness is electricity, so Akihiko is the ideal party member to bring whenever you're hunting this rare shadow.

The Ethereal Hand can cast Makarakarn, which is similar to the Tetrakarn but reflects magic attacks instead. If you want to make it a quick battle, use an electric attack, go all-out, and use Theurgies to eliminate the enemy. Upon your victory, you'll earn a Sumptuous Coin and about 10,000 EXP.

Reticent Checkmate

Reticent Checkmate is the next greedy shadow you'll encounter in the Upper Tziah Block. Similar to the Bold Checkmate, you'll need to chase it down by correctly navigating through the corridors of Tartarus. Its weakness is also electricity, so keep Akihiko on your team!

The Reticent Checkmate doesn't put up much of a fight, but it can cast Garudyne. It is better to keep Junpei out of your team since he is weak to wind damage unless he has a Green Shawl. For defeating the greedy shadow, you'll receive a Silver Medal and about 20,000 EXP.

Hunting any of these rare monsters can net you a lot of resources, especially Yen, which means you have another source of income apart from your part-time job. You can also purchase a Rarity Fortune from the Fortune Teller at Club Escapade to increase the chances of encountering rare monsters at Tartarus.
