Pikmin 4 received a teaser trailer, complete with Miyamoto's giddy excitement, and fans got their first look at the upcoming title. Not much was revealed, but we did learn that players will be able to experience a new perspective from Pikmin's view.

Pikmin 4 will release July 7, 2023, according to a Nintendo Direct in February.

What platforms will Pikmin 4 be on?

Pikmin 4 will be exclusively available on the Nintendo Switch. This means you will need the Nintendo console to continue the epic story of the Pikmin series.

Is Olimar in Pikmin 4?

We do not know if Olimar will be in Pikmin 4 as we have not seen the captain, his ship, or had a mention of him. The teaser for Pikmin 4 was brief and showed little, so he may return. In fact, Olimar has appeared in all Pikmin games, so we will likely get to play as Olimar again.
