Pikmin Bloom is the latest AR game by Niantic. They have partnered with Nintendo to bring Pikmin to both IOS and Android, encouraging players to step outside of their homes and start walking. Doing so will let players grow flowers and collect Pikmin to join them on their journey.

Pikmin Bloom is a free-to-play game but does offer microtransactions. This takes the form of Flower Coins which players can find in the top-right corner of the screen. It is the only microtransaction in the game and is not in your face about it. Players can earn them slowly by playing the game or purchasing them through the in-game store.
