How to counter Glimmora in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Glimmora is a Rock/Poison-type Pokémon that has a decent Defense and Special Defense, along with a move pool that can make it a menace to deal with. Even more annoying is its ability, Toxic Debris, which activates Toxic Spikes when Glimmora gets hit by a physical move. It has an incredible Special Attack, so you will want to use a Pokémon that has high Special Defense and can clear entry hazards.

When fighting Glimmora, we recommend having a Pokémon with a high Special Attack with a strong Water, Ground, Psychic, or Steel-type attack. This will do super effective damage and avoid triggering Toxic Debris. Additionally, you should bring a Pokémon with Rapid Spin to clear Toxic Debris if you do trigger it. If you can finish Glimmora off before it activates its ability, you will be in good shape.
