All Tinkaton weaknesses in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Tinkatake this Pokémon down.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet takes place in the Paldea region and introduces many new Pokémon. One of these is the Tinkatink line, which immediately became popular with fans. As a result, you may find yourself against the Fairy and Steel-type Pokémon, a fairly unique type combination. This may leave you wondering what Tinkaton is weak to in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

What is Tinkaton weak to in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

Tinkaton's Fairy and Steel-typing in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet give it many resistances. But, it does have a 2x weakness to Ground and Fire, the only types that are super effective against it. As a result, you will want to use a Pokémon of these types or one that knows a move with these types when battling Tinkaton.

Tinkaton has an incredible amount of resistance, taking half damage from Normal, Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Roc, Dark, and Fairy types. It takes 1/4 damage from Bug and has immunity to Dragon types. This can make Tinkaton difficult to deal with, considering its high Special Defense.

What also makes Tinkaton dangerous is its high Speed and decent Attack. This lets it take advantage of its signature Gigaton Hammer, a Steel-type move with 160 base power. Fortunately, this move cannot be used twice in a row, meaning if you survive the first one, you can attack before Tinkaton uses it again.
