Best Nature for Duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Scare your opponents.

Who can resist such a powerful-looking Pokémon like Dusknoir? Certainly not me! I had a friend trade with me as soon as I found one with a unique Tera type in Timeless Woods. The Duskull line of Pokémon is good to have in any game despite its low-ish HP. Here’s the perfect natures to give it in Scarlet & Violet.

What is the best nature for Duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

The best natures for Duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the following:

  • Adamant (+Attack, -Sp. Attack)
  • Brave (+Attack, -Speed)
  • Impish (+Defense, -Sp. Attack)
  • Careful (+Sp. Defense, -Sp. Attack)

Dusknoir is extremely slow, so a ton of players often support it with Trick Room (which reverses turn order). My default is usually Adamant or Brave, with the latter being an option if you have Trick Room up. Dusknoir’s strongest move is Earthquake, which can deal quite a devastating damage with a +10% growth rate boosting its already high Attack stat. If you’re using it to clear story content, Adamant and Brave are your choices, too.

On the flip side, Dusclops and Dusknoir have even higher defenses. You can toss half of your EVs in HP and go for an Impish or Careful nature. The Pokémon can then be given moves like Will-O’-Wisp to try and defeat your enemy before you do. For Tera Raids, this one’s an okay build as well.

Choosing the best nature for any Pokémon, especially in Scarlet & Violet, where there’s a ton of differing content, can be tricky. As such, it really helps to look up what your chosen Pokémon can do, from its base stats to the moves it can learn.
