How to evolve Igglybuff into Jigglypuff in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Igglybuff is the pre-evolution of Jigglypuff, one of the most popular Pokémon in the series. The pair are Fairy and Normal-type and known for their ability to put people to sleep by singing. If you are interested in the Pokémon, you may wonder how to evolve Igglybuff into Jigglypuff in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to get Jigglypuff in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

You can evolve Igglybuff into Jigglypuff by raising its friendship in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. You can increase friendship by keeping your Igglybuff in your party and keeping it healthy. If Igglybuff faints or has a status condition for long periods of time, its friendship will not increase.

You can further increase friendship by using the Soothe Bell. This held item can be purchased from the Delibird Presents stores for 5,000 Poké Dollars. If you equip this to your Igglybuff, it will speed up the rate its friendship grows and evolve into Jigglypuff faster.

If you would rather skip Igglybuff and just catch a Jigglypuff, you can find one quite early in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Look at the above image to locate Jigglypuff, but we found ours outside Cortondo. Once you have a Jigglypuff, you will want to evolve it into a Wigglytuff to complete its evolution.
