Petilil requires a Sun Stone to evolve into Lilligant in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. It can evolve as early as level 1 if players want a Lilligant quickly and will have a lot of moves in its memory as a result. A Sun Stone can be found quickly in the game as well, so evolving it should be easy enough. This is everything players need to know about how to evolve Petilil into Lilligant in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

Petilil requires the Sun Stone to evolve in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. There is no reason to not evolve the Pokémon as there are no moves it can learn at later levels that Lilligant won't be able to learn either by remembering the moves in the menu or by leveling up. It is very frail as a Petilil with a very low Base Stat Total, so evolving it as quickly as possible should be considered. The Base Stat increase from Petilil and Lilligant are:

  • HP - 45 to 70
  • Attack - 35 to 60
  • Defense - 50 to 75
  • Special Attack - 70 to 110
  • Special Defense - 50 to 75
  • Speed - 30 to 90
  • Total - 280 to 480
