How to evolve Sandygast into Palossand in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

This sand castle is dangerous.

There are many new Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but the Paldea region contains a number of returning Pokémon as well. This includes Sandygast and its evolution, Palossand—both Ground/Ghost-type Pokémon. However, after training your Sandygast for a while, you may not trigger its evolution. This may leave you wondering what level Sandygast evolves in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

What is Sandygast's evolution level in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

Sandygast's evolution level in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is 42. Once you have leveled Sandygast to level 42, it will evolve into Palossand. Palossand is a great defensive Pokémon that has high Defense, Special Defense, and HP. It also has a great Specia Attack score.

How to get Palossand in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

There are two ways to get Palossand in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The first is to evolve Sandygast by training it to level 42. Otherwise, you can find this Ground/Ghost Pokémon in the Asado Desert. There is Terastalize Palossand that you can find in the center of this region.

Sandygast takes a while to evolve, but it is well worth it. Its evolution, Sandygast, is a powerful addition to any Pokémon team, and we recommend trying it out. Give it a good nature to further increase its power, and it can be difficult for your opponents to stop.
