How to evolve Steenee into Tsareena in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Those are some powerful legs.

Tsareena is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Pokémon Sun and Moon, but it returns in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Tsareena is an excellent addition to any team thanks to its stat spread and move pool. To add one to your party, you must first catch a Steenee and evolve it. This may leave you wondering how to evolve Steenee into Tsareena in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to get Tsareena in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

To evolve Steenee into Tsareena in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must raise Steenee to level 28. Once you do this, it will learn the move Stomp. Make sure you teach your Steenee Stomp, as this is required for it to evolve into Tsareena. After teaching it Stomp, level Steenee up one more time to evolve. If you do not teach Steenee Stomp, it will not evolve.

If you accidentally forgot Stomp in your Steenee's move set or caught a higher-level one that does not have the move, you can remember it. This will let Steenee relearn the move, and then you can evolve it into Tsareena. Once it has evolved, you no longer need to keep Stomp in its move set.

Tsareena is a powerful Grass-type Pokémon. It has high Attack, Defense, and Special Defense, meaning it can take some hits and fire back some of its own. Catching one with a nature that increases these stats will make it all the more deadly.
