Scream Tail is not available until the end of the game, as you will need to first complete the Victory Road, Starfall Street, and Path of Legends campaigns. After completing the three storylines, you will then be taken to Area Zero where you can find Scarlet and Violet's Paradox PokémonScream Tail only spawns in the Great Crater of Paldea, and becomes catchable after you have turned on Research Station No. 3 in the story. Once unlocked, Scream Tail can be encountered in the location detailed below.

Unlike other Paradox Pokémon, Scream Tail actually spawns all over the Great Crater of Paldea. However, a guaranteed way to find the fanged Jigglypuff is to use the Zero Gate fast travel point below Medali City. After entering the gate, use the green portal in the middle of the room and warp to Research Station No. 4. Outside the science lab, you will find a flood of Scream Tail spawn locations throughout the cave. Just walk around the rocky corridors, and you will find groups of the Paradox Pokémon wandering the overworld at level 58. Scream Tail is a Pokémon Scarlet exclusive, so Pokémon Violet users will need to trade with another player to get the ancient Jigglypuff.
