Best nature for Gardevoir and Gallade in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Both are a good choice.

There are many Pokémon to choose from in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl when building your team. Regardless of which six Pokémon you select, you will need to ensure that their natures align with their strengths. This is true for both Gardevoir and Gallade.

While Gardevoir and Gallade both evolve from Kirlia, they are two entirely different Pokémon with different strengths and weaknesses. As such, each one has different options for its nature. You can see these options below.

Gardevoir

  • Modest - (+Special Attack, -Attack)
  • Timid - (+Speed, -Attack)

We recommend the Timid nature as the best nature for Gardevoir. This psychic and fairy-type Pokémon is better suited to use its special attack, which is quite good. While adding some extra power behind its attacks is good, increasing its speed is slightly better as it can hit hard before your opponent gets a turn to go.

Gallade

  • Adamant - (+Attack, -Special Attack)
  • Jolly - (+Speed, -Special Attack)

We recommend the Adamant nature as the best nature for Gallade. The psychic and fighting-type Pokémon has phenomenal attack and good speed. Boosting either of these is a good choice but getting the extra oomph behind your attacks is slightly better.
