Pokémon Go: April Fools’ 2-Oh?-22 – All Quest Steps & Rewards

Pokémon Go celebrated April Fools' Day 2022 by highlighting the sneaky Pokémon Ditto. The event only occurred on April Fools' Day and featured a Quest titled April Fools' 2-Oh?-22. This Quest can be difficult to complete now that the event has ended because the spawn rates of some of the featured Pokémon have returned to normal.

All Quests and Rewards

Quest 1/3:

• Catch 10 Pokémon - 25 Poké Balls
• Catch five Normal-type Pokémon - Five Potions
• Make five Nice Throws - Five Nanab Berries

Reward: 1,000 Stardust, 15 Ditto Candies, and five Razz Berries

Quest 2/3:

• Catch 10 Pokémon - 15 Great Balls
• Catch three of the Transform Pokémon (These are Ditto) - Five Super Potions
• Transfer 10 Pokémon - Five Pinap Berries

Reward: 1,500 XP, 15 Ditto Candies, and one Silver Pinap Berry

Quest 3/3:

• Claim Reward - 10 Ultra Balls
• Claim Reward - Five Hyper Potions
• Claim Reward - 3,500 XP

Reward: 3,000 Stardust, 15 Ditto Candies, and a Ditto encounter

How to catch Ditto in Pokémon Go

Catching a Ditto to complete a step in Quest #2 can be a difficult task. The spawn rate of Ditto was increased during the April Fools' Day 2022 event, but now that it's over, players may have trouble getting their hands on the Transforming Pokémon. To catch a Ditto, players must first find one hiding out disguised as another Pokémon. The only way to reliably tell if a Pokémon in the wild is actually a disguised Ditto is to catch it. At the time of writing, the wild Pokémon that can be Ditto when encountered are Ekans, Gastly, Natu, Surskit, Finneon, Dwebble, and Swirlix.
