Niantic has announced a new event coming to Pokémon GO. The event will be titled Hisuian Discoveries and takes place from Wednesday, July 27, 2022, to Tuesday, August 2, 2022. The event runs from 10am local time on July 27, to 8pm local time on August 2. This event introduces a few new regional forms of popular Pokémon for players to catch.
New Debut Pokémon in the Hisuian Discoveries Event
There are three new Pokémon making their Pokémon GO debut during the Hisuian Discoveries Event. Hisuian Growlithe, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Hisuian Sneasel are all appearing in the game for players to catch. It is important to note that none of these Pokémon can be shiny when encountered.

Wild Encounters in the Hisuian Discoveries Event
The Hisuian Discoveries Event brings along with it a whole new rotation of Wild Encounters. Some Pokémon that haven't appeared in the wild in a very long time will be popping up, giving new players a chance to fill out their Pokédex.

Three-Star Raids in the Hisuian Discoveries Event
- Chansey*

Egg Hatches in the Hisuian Discoveries Event
Incubating and hatching a 7km Egg during this event gives players the chance to hatch one of the new Hisuian Pokémon. Hisuian Growlithe and Hisuian Sneasel can only be obtained this way, while Hisuian Voltorb and Hisuian Qwilfish can be caught in the wild as well.
Collection Challenges in the Hisuian Discoveries Event
There will be a Hisuian-themed Collection Challenge for players to complete during this event. The Challenge will give players a nice reward (XP, Stardust, and an Egg Incubator) when completed.
