Pokémon Unite Patch Notes

Pokémon Unite seems to have taken the world by storm. The team lane battler is tons of fun and very addictive to play. With tons of builds, and playing as your favorite Pokémon is a delight.

Pokémon Unite Patch Notes September 2nd

Update Details

  • Aeos Energy now tied to how well the player performs
  • New Achievements have been incorporated. Changes made to the achievements for Greedent, Absol and Zeraora
  • New character: Mew
  • New map: Theia Sky Ruins
  • More Emblems added
  • Players can now elect to play without Emblems
  • Speedsters now get a weak shield and greatly increased movement after using Unite move
  • Defenders now get a strong shield a slightly increased movements after using Unite move
  • Supporters now get a weak shield, slightly increased movement speed and reduced cooldowns after using Unite move
  • All-Rounders now get a weak shiled, slightly increased movement speed and either increased Attack Speed or reduced cooldowns after using Unite Move
  • Attackers now get a weak shield, slightly increased movement and either increased Attack Speed or reduced cooldowns after using Unite Move

Tyranitar

  • Dark Pulse now deals decreased damage
  • Ancient Power now gives a weaker shield and less increased movement speed
  • Tyrannical Rampage now can no longer crit

Buzzwole

  • Leech Life now has decreased cooldown and deals increased damage
  • Smack Down now deals less damage, has an increased range and Muscle Gauge has increased by 1

Tsareena

  • Stomp now has both a cooldown increase and a damage output decrease

Mr. Mime

  • Now gets a boosted attack every five seconds
  • Light Screen now stuns upon usage
  • Fake Out no longer stuns after the knockback
  • Barrier now stuns upon usage
  • Psychic now sends three pulses, effecting enemies in the area of effect. After the three pulses, a final pulse will leave targets stunned for a second
  • Guard Swap is now Power Swap. Description: Creates a link between the user and the Pokemon this move hits. While the link holds, the user's movement speed increases and its HP is continually restored. If the linked Pokemon is an ally Pokemon, this move increases the movement speed of that Pokemon, increases the amount of damage it deals and continually restores its HP. If the linked Pokemon is an opposing Pokemon, this move decreases that Pokemon's movement speed, decreases the amount of damage it deals, and deals damage to it over time.

Dragonite

  • Dragon Dance now has increased cooldown
  • Hyper Beam now deals less damage

Glaceon

  • Icy Wind now deals more damage
  • Icicle Spear no longer has lingering damage after making contact with enemy

Lucario

  • Power-up Punch now always goes the full range, even after a full charge

Crustle

  • Fixed a bug where Stealth Rock would deal extra unintentional damage

Machamp

  • Submission now has lower cooldown
  • Dynamic Punch now deals less damage

Cramorant

  • Cooldown on Surf is increased
  • Cooldown on Dive is increased

Espeon

  • Both Psybeam and Future Sight have lower cooldowns
  • The time for Stored Power blasts to recharge has been reduced
  • Psychic Solaire now charges 12 seconds more quickly

Blissey

  • Basic Attack now deals physical damage
  • Soft-Boiled now heals less HP

Wigglytuff

  • Double Slap now deals more damage and has less cooldown

Duraludon

  • Dragon Tail now has an increased cooldown

Delphox

  • Flame Charge now has decreased cooldown

Item Changes

  • Leftovers now recovers more health
  • Assault Vest now gives more Special Defense
  • Rocky Helmet now gives more Defense
  • Float Stone now gives more movement speed
