Guns are extremely useful at mowing down zombies before they can respawn, but they can be tricky to locate. You can look for them at Gun Shops, but also several other locations that will spawn firearms. Here's where!

The best and most accessible Gun Shop (or other store centered around firearms) will depend on your location. Here are the dedicated weapon shops in Project Zomboid:

  • Stars & Stripes Gun Shop - Louisville (Mall)
  • Gun Store - Louisville
  • A.A. Ron Hunting Supply - Louisville
  • Gun Store - Louisville
  • Ready Prep Army Issue Surplus - Louisville
  • Jamieton Army Surplus - Doe Valley
  • Gun Shop - West Point

To figure out where these Gun Shops are in relation to your current location, you'll want to use a map. Either use the map available to you in-game or use the official map from the Project Zomboid developers' website.
